The Littlest Readers for Read-a-thon!

Even the smallest of babies benefit from being read to – even when they are in our Neonatal Units NICU! Babies enjoy hearing their parent’s voice over any other sound, but what’s more important is that it’s an activity that parents can do every day to help care for their baby during their stay.

Ward 3B at PCH and the Neonatal Unit at King Edward Memorial Hospital took part in the Little Readers Read-a-thon with other NICUs across Australia from 5 to 16 September and were kindly donated a bookcases and books to be read.
