Clinical Practice Guidelines

Clinical Practice Guidelines are systematically developed statements that are designed to provide advice regarding the clinical care and management of children and adolescents, developed by clinicians and researchers for use within Perth Children's Hospital.

Clinical Practice Guidelines are evidenced based using the best available evidence and are designed to improve the quality and consistency of health care, and health outcomes.

Guidelines are not prescriptive as they allow flexibility for clinician decision-making, but they are becoming the critical link between the best available evidence and good quality clinical practice.
