Child Development Service

Join a team that makes a difference at the Child Development Service (CDS)

Whilst children develop at their own pace, some experience challenges and need additional support. CDS provides multidisciplinary assessment and intervention services to infants, children and young people with developmental delay or difficulties in the Perth metropolitan area.

Our passionate and skilled multidisciplinary team of clinicians work with children and families to help them reach their full potential via assessment, treatment sessions and group-based interventions.

  • Allied health assistants
  • Audiologists
  • Clinical Psychologists
  • Developmental Paediatricians
  • Nurses
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Physiotherapists
  • Social Workers
  • Speech Pathologists

Our clinicians adopt a child and family-centred approach, working in partnership with families to address developmental concerns that are of priority to the family.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive, values-based organisation that serves a diverse range of families with varying clinical complexity.

With 18 sites across the Perth metropolitan area, operating Monday – Friday during business hours, a career at CDS offers flexibility and the option to work close to home.

Employee Benefits

  • Opportunity to expand your knowledge while working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Opportunity for career growth within the child and adolescent health sector
  • Community based facilities providing the opportunity to work close to home
  • Flexible leave arrangements and benefits
  • Professional development opportunities and study leave
  • Values-based work culture
  • Staff wellbeing focus
  • Salary packaging including car leasing, superannuation, laptop computers, general living expenses, mortgage, and several other options
