Who is this program for

The Solid Start program is a free program for parents or carers with a baby over 4 months of age, who want information on starting their baby on solid food.

What the program covers

The Solid Start program covers topics such as:

  • why and when to introduce solids
  • how to introduce solids and what to introduce first
  • moving from first foods to family foods
  • foods and drinks to avoid
  • food safety
  • common food allergies.
