Who is this program for

The Solid Start program is for parents or carers who have a baby over 4 months of age, and want information or have questions on starting their baby on solid food.

What the program covers

The Solid Start program covers topics such as:

  • why and when to introduce solids
  • how to introduce solids and what to introduce first
  • moving from first foods to family foods
  • foods and drinks to avoid
  • food safety
  • common food allergies.

What is involved

This is a single, group session for up to two hours.
