Midland Community Hub

Midland Community Hub is located at 1 Midland Square Midland, next to Landgate.

Travel and parking

Directions to Midland Hub can be found on Google Maps.

For information on parking, public transport and links to assist you in planning your journey to the Hub, download the Midland Community Hub Travel and Parking Guide.

Please note that parking around the Hub may be limited. Allow extra time to get to your appointment or consider public transport or alternative travel arrangements.

If you are running late for your appointment, please call Reception on (08) 6326 1300 and they will let your clinician know.

When you arrive

Midland Community Hub provides a culturally safe environment for families with different needs.

We have open wait and sub-wait areas, a sensory room (My Space) for those who need a quiet space, as well as the Family Cultural and Parent Rooms, where families can use facilities and wait until their clinician is ready.

Ask our friendly reception staff about these areas when you arrive.

Our services

Child Development Service (CDS)

The multidisciplinary Midland CDS team works closely with parents providing a range of assessment and treatment services to children with developmental delay or difficulties that impact function, participation and/or the parent-child relationship.

Child Health

Visit your child health nurse here at the Hub, where you can receive free healthcare services from birth to school age for your child and family.

The Midland Child Health team offer the Breastfeeding Support Service to breastfeeding mothers every Monday at the Hub.  This service requires a referral from the child health nurse.

School Health

Our school health nurses visit primary and secondary schools within the Midland area providing health services and education to school children and their families from kindergarten through to year 12.

Your school health nurse can be contacted via your child’s school administration team.


Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

The multidisciplinary Swan CAMHS team is made up of psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, Aboriginal mental health workers and administrative staff.

Aboriginal Health team (AHT)

The multidisciplinary AHT operates from the Hub fortnightly on a Tuesday. Our services are free, culturally responsive and centred on the needs of the child and family; focusing on healthy development and identifying concerns early.

Acute Care and Response team (ACRT)

The Midland ACRT team is a mobile service providing short-term urgent and specialised mental health treatment and support 7 days a week to children and young people aged up to 18.

Immunisation

Immunisation clinics at the Hub run on Thursdays between 9am and 3:30pm.

Our immunisation nurses can administer vaccinations on the childhood immunisation schedule, including any catch-up immunisations if they have been missed.

If you are visiting the Hub for other services and would like to book a catch-up immunisation, register for an appointment using this online form, call 1300 749 869 or email us.
